The 17th Ordinary General Assembly of the Türkiye National Paralympic Committee Held in Istanbul

Dr. Att. Murat Aksu Re-elected as President

The 17th Ordinary General Assembly of the Türkiye National Paralympic Committee (TMPK) was held in Istanbul at Delta Hotels by Marriott, with the participation of General Assembly members.

During the meeting, activities from the previous term were shared with the members, and information was provided on the current state of the Paralympic Movement in Türkiye, the historic achievements at Paris 2024, and the initiatives planned within the scope of the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan.

In this context, national and international developments, efforts to enhance the committee’s institutional capacity, and the main priorities for the upcoming period were discussed.

DR. ATT. MURAT AKSU RENEWS HIS MANDATE!

As a result of the election held at the General Assembly, Dr. Att. Murat Aksu was re-elected as President with the unanimous support of all participating members, thus renewing his mandate.

In his address of gratitude, President Aksu emphasized that they will continue to work in close cooperation with all stakeholders to further strengthen Türkiye’s momentum in Paralympic sports.
